How to Apply
Selection:
August/Beginning of School Year: Junior and Senior students will receive an invitation to join within the first month of school.
All juniors and any senior not in NHS with a weighted GPA of 3.5 or higher will receive an invitatioon to join.
Application Process:
Once students receive their invitation, they have about 2-3 weeks to complete their application.
We do not accept applications after the due date; Students need to make sure they read the invitation and understand what is expected of them.
Applications are not accepted over email. Student must use the application form provided in the invitation to submit their answer to the google form.
After the due date for the invitation, the faculty council will review the applicants.
The Faculty Council will review applications based on Character, Community Service and Involvement, and Leadership. Most students do make it into the NHS unless there is a disciplinary issue brought up by a faculty member.
